Summer dresses are great. The perfect item to never be over-dressed or under-dressed and so easy to dress up or down, depending on the occasion. Summer dresses also have the added bonus of being so easy to throw on, require minimal thought, and the floaty styles quite forgiving after the BBQ!
Some girls worry that a summer dress can be too smart or ‘girly’, but if paired with the right accessories and other pieces in the look, they can easily be given that extra edge.
As a very ‘un-girly’ girl, I own so many summer dresses and pair mine with biker boots, trainers, blazers and leather jackets (as also demonstrated above by the icon of summer boho dressing).
